Is it bad that I genuinely like Jawat for its musical value, not just because they're a Dutch hip-hop group? Yes it is.
I finally found a page with lyrics to some of their songs, so when I'm not busy, time to translate! Yay! I really really wish I could continue learning Dutch. German is fun, but it isn't a very good substitute. The problem with Yale languages, too, is that all the languages I really want to study can only be taken not for credit in my own free time. So Dutch, Finnish and Danish (not that I'd do all three at once, though I wish I could) would get me no credit. I find this to be a pretty discriminatory policy, actually--well, perhaps "discriminatory" isn't the right word, but why do some languages deserve credit but not others? Someone motivated enough to learn Finnish should get CREDIT for it, damnit!
All right, I'm going to go off to Sillicommons to dinnerize with Elizabet, so this entry ends now.
