Sorten Muld + my father's huge headphones = musical heaven.
Last night I had these intensely creepy dreams about Nazi-like people coming back to power in a sort of World War Three. First, my father and I are out in a field guarding...something...and I turn around to go get some music to put on and there are two guys with really ancient guns pressing them into my chest. So I say, "Don't shoot me! You can have my body!" They agree to this. I take off my clothes, they dump their guns in a pile and come over to me. I am kind of kneeling in a child's-pose like thing, and when they come over, I do a little move that makes no sense in real life: head-butting one (like Zidane!) and kicking the other. They fall down, and I grab their guns and shoot them both. My father appears and I am praised for my quick thinking.
Then some other things happen, and I wind up back in my house. We get the message that the Nazis are coming and we have to grab our weapons and fight. But I take too long, and everyone else leaves without me. Suddenly the Nazis burst into my house. Panicked, I hide in the closet just as one Nazi enters my room. He definitely sees me going into the closet, but doesn't do anything. So I'm sitting in there, terrified, waiting for him to do something, as he sits down on my bed and...starts playing with my stuffed animals. He is a French Nazi, and has a very over-exaggerated French accent and funny beard. He keeps peeking at me through the crack in the closet door and at one point smiles at me, but still does nothing. Eventually he gets up and walks out of the room, and all the Nazis leave. My family returns and I am again praised for my quick thinking, even though the whole thing happened to be me getting lucky.
The weird thing is that I feel like I had the first part of the dream two nights ago, and the second part one night ago. But thinking about it, I definitely dreamed the whole thing last night. Odd?
