oh gosh, they're putting out the torch and I'm probably going to get all teary. I am far too hormonal for my personal taste these days.
The Olympics came at such a turbulent sort of time this year. After seeing the utter moonbattery of "Why We Fight" and contrasting it with the happy feel-good-ness of the Olympics, I wonder why we can't all get along? I know that is such a naive and childish question, maybe, and I'm not asking this cynically or despairingly. I just want to know why the hell we can't put aside all this bullshit and realize we're all the same people even if we do have some differences? I'm so sick of political fights and people throwing the blame on other people for the world's problems. Either we're all to blame, or no one is.
