Before I go off to Saratoga, I need to record some insignificance:
I actually had a dream that DID NOT FRIGHTEN ME. When does this happen? In short: I dreamed I saw a poster advertising the "PAUL KANTNER REUNION CONCERT" which was to be taking place in San Francisco that very evening. So, I just hopped in the car and drove myself to SF in about 5 minutes, because, of course, that's how long it takes to get there. I got myself into the building and discovered that there was a front-row seat, in between some guy and a girl my age. So I took the seat and waited and then Paul Kantner (who looked surprisingly young for his age) and some random guys came onstage and he started rambling about love and the environment. Then they performed two songs (and since my head made up the lyrics, I'm sure they didn't make any sense.) After that, he said he'd be giving out a free shirt from his performance to someone in the audience. He jumped off the stage and we made eye contact (*dramatic music*) and he handed the shirt to me and got back onstage. I squee-ed. Then the girl sitting next to me got all bitchy and was like, "but I wanted the shirt!" and I was like "But it's mine!" and she grumbled. The shirt was white and said "PAUL KANTNER REUNION CONCERT" in red and had a tiger (?) on it. Then there was another song and then I left and went to school and dragged the shirt around with me everywhere. I must say, when I woke up I was disappointed for a second because I didn't seem to have the shirt with me. Then I realized it was a dream and laughed.
On that note...Today I turn 17 3/4, and now I leave.
