back home

did all my homework friday night and saturday morning, didn't bring my laptop to saratoga
lovely
no internet to distract me
all thirteen of my loud, jewish family were there
we shopped, we ate
we fought about summer plans and made fun of my grandmother's ridiculous comments
("what's in england? just a bunch of old churches!")
i read
i listened to morten fillipsen. du er ikke som de andre pi'r is such a ridiculously cool song.
we watched the olympics and made fun of everyone and everything
and cheered for apolo
and bashed shani davis, who seemed to have a major chip on his shoulder
ice dancing was crazy this time
it was more beautiful than it's ever been up there
february makes flat pretty blue sunlight when not in the city
"i am a rock" describes my mood almost perfectly

school tomorrow?
EW. CRAP. VOI VITTU.
18 school days until spring break, vegas, death valley, grand canyon etc!
that seems like an impossible number of days to get through.
