today i sat, hands sticky with butter, cracking lobster shells open with a thick silver cracker. i have mosquito bites up and down my legs, and on my arms and hands from last week. tonight i also pumped gas. god, how satisfying.

why do i persist in seeing things through rose-colored glasses? at the end of the day, i think everyone is amazing.
